Children's Savings Account Strategies for Community Foundations

About this grant

The overall goal of this project is to encourage community foundations to promote and adopt programs and policies that help low-income families increase income and build assets. To this end, CFLeads will convene six to eight community foundation teams that will work together for two years to learn about and begin implementing specific family economic security strategies, including children’s savings accounts. Mott funding will support meetings and conferences, individual and group technical assistance, and dissemination of written deliverables. CFLeads is a national learning cooperative that advocates for and advances the practice of community leadership among community foundations.
