About this grant
The Tanzanian Traditional Energy Development Organization is a nongovernmental organization working on sustainable energy development, based in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania. For the past decade, it has been actively involved in implementing renewable energy and energy efficiency projects and programs in rural Tanzania. This project will contribute to the efforts to increase access to electricity from renewable energy mini-grids in rural Tanzania. The focus will be on raising awareness nationally and in selected districts in eastern Tanzania on the opportunities for mini-grid development and energy efficiency improvements.
