About this grant
This grant will enable the Genesys Health Foundation to complete a market needs study to determine how a prospective life sciences business accelerator located in Genesee County can best meet demand for research and innovation in healthcare delivery. The grantee oversees charitable gifts and grants for Genesys Health System and Genesys Regional Medical Center in order to address community healthcare needs and improve access to healthcare services for those who are underserved. An accelerator would provide the basis for development of a regional life sciences industry cluster, which would create new jobs within Genesee County and help to diversify the area’s economy.
