About this grant
The Independent Philanthropy Association of South Africa was established in 2015 as a voluntary association and network to represent and promote the common interests, concerns, and objectives of its members. Currently, the grantee has 26 members, including the Mott Foundation. The grantee’s secretariat is coordinated by GastrowBloch Philanthropy. Anticipated activities during this grant period will include hosting peer learning workshops, organizing an annual symposium focusing on philanthropic strategies in South Africa, maintaining its website to provide visitors with current and updated news and resources, and linking its members to regional African and global networks and resources on philanthropy development.
