About this grant

Derecho Ambiente y Recursos Naturales is a Peruvian nongovernmental organization focused on sustainable development and conservation of the Amazon Basin. Over the last project period, the organization made significant contributions to reforming and implementing the environment and social standards that govern international and national financial institutions, including work with partners to mitigate the impacts of specific infrastructure and energy projects. This grant renewal provides general purpose support to the organization to implement its strategic plan 2018-2022 and to strengthen its work on energy development and access in the Peruvian Amazon state of Loreto.
