About this grant
This grant will support the United Way of Rhode Island which coordinates the Rhode Island Statewide Afterschool Network to continue development of policy, partnerships and resources to benefit youth in afterschool programs. Specific initiatives will include: 1) partnering with the Rhode Island Community Foundation to support new state education agency afterschool initiatives; 2) developing and launching a quality afterschool STEM framework to improve quality; 3) providing professional development and training opportunities to afterschool programs; and 4) supporting the promotion and distribution of the Mizzen by Mott app.
