About this grant
Flint Odyssey House, Inc., established the Healthy Flint Research Coordinating Center in 2016. This initiative was created to better advocate on behalf of community residents to help derive maximum health benefits from research conducted locally. The primary task of the Community Core is coordinating research conducted in Flint in order to minimize fragmented and duplicative efforts across local universities and hospitals, increase the community voice, and ensure ethical community involvement. The Flint Odyssey House is uniquely positioned to shepherd this work due to its existing connections and trust in the community.
