About this grant
The Flint Cultural Center Foundation will construct a new building to house the Flint Cultural Center Academy which is scheduled to open grades Kindergarten through 5th grade in the fall of 2019. When fully implemented (2022), the school will serve approximately 675 Kindergarten through 8th grade students from Flint and Genesee County. The vision of the Flint Cultural Center Academy is to demonstrate a unique application of education that challenges and surpasses the existing norms of student achievement and learning growth, while addressing the development of the whole child.
