About this grant
This grant provides support to Instituto Comunitario Grande Florianopolis to coordinate the activities of the Ibero-American Network of Community Foundations, an informal network initiated in 2013 with the aim to strengthen community philanthropy organizations in Spain, Portugal, and Latin America. Over the next two years, the network will strengthen the capacity of its members, expand its membership, promote the achievement of community foundations in the Ibero-American region, and strengthen its financial sustainability. The network is supported by the grantee, Brazil’s largest and most prominent foundation. During the past grant period, the grantee strengthened the governance structure of the network, increased the capacity of the network members by organizing over 25 webinars and online discussions, and published three reports on the social impact of its members.
