About this grant
Founded in 1915, The Boston Foundation is one of the nation’s oldest and largest community foundations. The inaugural “Innovations in International Philanthropy” symposium will be held in Boston in September 2018. The event will be co-hosted by The Philanthropic Initiative – a philanthropy advisory comprised of the grantee and New England International Donors – a community of more than 100 New England-based global philanthropists. The project goal is to support the sharing of knowledge and experience among international oriented philanthropists in New England. It will bring together an estimated 200 philanthropists, investors, funders, and companies to connect, inspire and learn from each other. At the symposium, a new publication, “Innovative Trends in International Philanthropy: A Call for Collaboration” will be released.
