About this grant
Derecho Ambiente y Recursos Naturales is a Peruvian nongovernmental organization with offices in Lima and Iquitos, the capital of the Peruvian Amazon Department of Loreto. Over the last two years, the grantee began work to bring renewable energy to isolated communities in the Amazon. With this grant, the grantee will expand the solar energy access work in the Peruvian Amazon. This project will provide dedicated support for expanding solar energy access to communities living in the buffer zones of Amazon protected areas in the Department of Loreto.
