Massachusetts Statewide Afterschool Network

About this grant

This grant will support the Massachusetts Afterschool Partnership, which coordinates the Massachusetts Statewide Afterschool Network, to continue the development of policy, partnerships and resources to benefit youth in afterschool programs. Specific initiatives will include: 1) convening a summit to educate city and town leaders on the importance of afterschool; 2) engaging youth to develop more and better summer and afterschool opportunities to deal with the learning and opportunity lost during COVID-19; 3) developing a white paper on the contributions made by afterschool to sustain learning and recovery throughout the pandemic; and 4) supporting the promotion and distribution of Mizzen by Mott.
