Arizona Statewide Afterschool Network

About this grant

This grant will support the Arizona Center for Afterschool Excellence, which coordinates the Arizona Statewide Afterschool Network, to continue the development of policy, partnerships and resources to benefit youth in afterschool programs. Specific initiatives will include: 1) expanding continuous quality initiatives by strengthening existing partnerships and engaging new partners in the education and child care sector; 2) developing a collaborative network of key champions to advocate for sustainable funding and resources to increase access to high-quality afterschool programs and summer learning environments; 3) creating new professional development resources and training centered on equity and inclusion for the afterschool and education field to advance equitable opportunities for youth and families; and 4) supporting the promotion and distribution of Mizzen by Mott.
