New York Statewide Afterschool Network

About this grant

This grant will support the New York State Network for Youth Success, which coordinates the New York Statewide Afterschool Network, to continue the development of policy, partnerships and resources to benefit youth in afterschool programs. Specific initiatives will include: 1) developing a statewide diversity, equity and inclusion initiative to increase the afterschool field’s capacity to serve historically marginalized youth; 2) supporting student learning recovery for all youth through expanded access to high-quality afterschool programs and community schools; 3) expand hybrid and virtual training credentials to increase equitable access to professional development for afterschool educators; and 4) supporting the promotion and distribution of Mizzen by Mott.
