Over the past 18 months, the grantee expanded a library of resources on international grantmaking on its website, maintained close relationships with the U.S. Department of Treasury regarding international regulatory issues, hosted seven webinars for 490 registrants on global grantmaking topics, held 12 meetings of the Global Liaisons group of international institutions, promoted the use of Sustainable Development Goals by U.S. foundations, hosted delegations of foreign philanthropic actors, and served on several global advisory boards. During the upcoming grant period, the grantee will continue to enhance and expand upon the four activity pillars. Founded in 1949, the Council on Foundations is a membership organization of private, community, and corporate foundations, primarily in the U.S.
