About this grant
The project goal is to increase access to justice for poor and marginalized communities in Sierra Leone. To this end, Advocaid will work in several towns across Sierra Leone to ensure that women and girls receive free legal advice, fair legal representation, education on their rights, and social welfare support. Key interventions over the two year period will include providing legal services and education, social welfare services, and advocacy on access to justice for women. The grantee works with women and girls caught up in Sierra Leone’s often unjust legal system. It provides access to justice programs using paralegals and lawyers.
