About this grant
The program goal is to advance efforts to increase people-centered access to justice. With a mission to empower at least 150 million people who will be able to prevent or resolve their most pressing justice problems by 2030, The Hague Institute for Innovation of Law works to identify new ways of meeting people’s justice needs and transforming justice systems. The grantee will approach its work based on the core principle that effective interventions and programs require robust data on critical issues, including people’s justice needs, the impact of selected policies, the effect of innovative approaches to resolve issues, and the scalability of programs. With this grounding, The Hague Institute for Innovation of Law will undertake a series of justice needs and related research projects, foster and support justice innovations that broaden access, identify and collate effective access solutions, and undertake discrete systemic justice transformation efforts in targeted countries.
