About this grant
The project goal is to enhance the capacity and knowledge of philanthropic networks. In 2020-2021, the United Philanthropy Forum advocated on behalf of the nonprofit and philanthropic sector, partnered and collaborated with other infrastructure organizations in responding to COVID-19, worked to advance racial equity and assisted in developing the capacity of nonprofit organizations. In 2022-2023, the grantee will continue to lead a vibrant network; maximize the individual and collective capacity and impact of its members; and provide learning, knowledge and resources to its members. Formed in 1998 as the Forum of Regional Associations of Grantmakers, the United Philanthropy Forum is a national network of associations of grantmakers. Its current members are 89 philanthropy-serving organizations across the United States that represent more than 7,000 foundations and other philanthropic organizations.
