About this grant

Instituto Socioambiental supports efforts to promote distributed renewable energy access solutions for isolated Amazon communities in Brazil and to overcome barriers to the expansion of clean energy in isolated communities. This grant increase will support the grantee to promote and host attendees at the Community Energy Fair in 2019, and build a budget and proposal for 100 percent solarization of the village of Tamandua in the Raposa Serra do Sul indigenous territory in the Brazilian Amazon state of Roraima.
