About this grant

INESC is a nongovernmental organization established for the promotion and strengthening of representative and participative democracy in Brazil. Over the former grant period, the grantee made important contributions to sustainable energy and infrastructure finance in the Amazon and the transition from fossil fuels to a low carbon, renewable energy economy. Over this grant period, the grantee will focus on defending social and environmental standards for development in the Brazilian Amazon and promoting sustainable finance and international standards at national and international financial institutions.
