About this grant
The project goal is to defend and promote civic space and foster a safe and enabling environment for civil society actors. To this end, the Fund for Global Human Rights, through its Enabling Environment Program, will work at national, regional and global levels to counter the negative impacts on civic space from state and transnational counterterrorism, anti-money laundering and other security frameworks. The grantee will make grants and provide technical assistance to support networking, learning and collaboration on policy development and advocacy. With global programming, the grantee is a public charity based in Washington, D.C., with an office in London.
