Children's Savings Accounts Strategies for Community Foundations

About this grant

The overall goal of this project is to form a strategy to gain momentum in connecting community foundations and children’s savings accounts programs. The work of CFLeads encourages community foundations to promote and adopt programs and policies that help low-income families increase income and build assets. In recent years, the grantee has built a history of supporting the development of children’s savings accounts within a small cohort of community foundations. However, the grantee hopes to access the larger field of community foundations to explore interest and knowledge in children’s savings accounts programs. To further uncover interest in children’s savings accounts, CFLeads will survey its constituents to understand the larger field of community foundations’ level of interest, as well as discover the types of learning opportunities that will work best for them.
