About this grant
The Brazilian Association of Distributed Generation is a trade group of more than 400 companies working in the renewable energy sector. Over the course of the project thus far, the grantee promoted the benefits of clean energy access and helped build supply chains for distributed solar energy in small Amazon cities and remote communities. The first Amazon Forum on Renewable Energy was organized for member companies and Amazon officials. The second Forum, as well as a Solar Training Road and Boat Show, will be organized during this grant period to build on lessons learned and meet community demand.
