About this grant
The World Resources Institute is a global environmental think tank that works with governments, the private sector, and civil society to identify solutions to urgent environmental challenges. The support of the Foundation has enabled the grantee to continue its work to help shift global financial flows toward more climate compatible and sustainable development that responds to the needs of the poor. The overarching goal of this project is to improve the social and environmental performance of public international financial institutions. This renewal grant will focus on deploying empirical research and open-source, digital analytical tools to help facilitate the greening of the China-led Belt and Road Initiative, as well as help ensure that the multilateral development banks meet international climate goals.
