Afterschool and Service-Learning Initiative

About this grant

This grant will support the National Youth Leadership Council to integrate service-learning into afterschool programs to increase student engagement in their schools and communities. The grantee will: 1) work with up to 16 statewide afterschool networks to integrate service-learning into local afterschool programs; 2) develop service-learning curriculum for afterschool programs that can be part of the Mott Afterschool App; and 3) create and support a learning community to share information and best practices on service-learning in afterschool programs.
