About this grant

This project will support the International Accountability Project, a nongovernmental organization focused on reforming development finance, to curate its Early Warning System web tool and develop the tool’s network of administrators. The Early Warning System organizes, summarizes and standardizes policy and project loans from international development finance institutions. Over the past grant period, the grantee broadened and deepened its work in South America, achieved greater transparency for financing projects and welcomed three new organizations in South America to co-lead the Early Warning System. Over the next grant period, the grantee will curate and use the Early Warning System, support partners and networks, and identify trends in energy development finance to ensure more sustainable energy and infrastructure finance and development.
