Nebraska Statewide Afterschool Network

About this grant

This grant will support Nebraska Children and Families Foundation to expand access to high-quality afterschool programs for young people. Specific initiatives will: 1) implement innovations that take advantage of one-time pandemic funding and contribute to the development of a more sustainable afterschool sector in Nebraska; 2) continue developing a network of state and local partnerships that lead to a more supportive policy environment that allows more communities to launch and sustain high-quality expanded learning opportunity programs; 3) grow a diverse and sustainable funding base that supports efforts to enhance Nebraska’s expanded learning opportunities sector as programs expand across the state; 4) cultivate a robust set of local and statewide partnerships that allow the Nebraska state afterschool network and its community partners to support more high-quality expanded learning opportunity programming; and 5) support the promotion and distribution of Mizzen by Mott.
