Afterschool Youth Entrepreneurship Initiative

About this grant

This grant to the University of Missouri – Columbia will enable the Missouri Statewide Afterschool Network to develop a program that prepares afterschool students for local, regional and state entrepreneur opportunities. This grant will support the network to: 1) engage students in afterschool and summer learning programs in a youth entrepreneurship pathway; 2) provide training on youth entrepreneurship for the afterschool field; and 3) develop communications resources on the role of afterschool and youth entrepreneurship. The grantee will share lessons learned with other state networks to enhance youth entrepreneurship initiatives in afterschool programs.
