About this grant
This grant will support the New Jersey School-Age Care Coalition which coordinates the New Jersey Statewide Afterschool Network to expand access to high-quality afterschool programs for young people. Specific initiatives will: 1) embed a focus on equity into afterschool systems in New Jersey; 2) establish a statewide Youth Advisory Committee to help develop future afterschool programs; 3) work with policymakers to design and implement education recovery funding to help New Jersey youth recover and thrive; 4) work with the Mott Foundation to design future afterschool programs and ecosystems; and 5) support the promotion and distribution of Mizzen by Mott.
