About this grant

The project goal is to develop community foundations in Peru. To this end, Mosaico Laboratorio Creativo will increase the knowledge and understanding of key stakeholders about community foundations and their practice in different regions of the world, adapt the concept of community foundations to the Peruvian context, and develop a long-term strategy for community foundation development in Peru. The grantee was established in 2017 by a group of young professionals with the mission to strengthen initiatives and organizations working in the social, educational, cultural, and artistic fields and motivate citizens to work collaboratively in favor of those most in need. The grantee advances its mission by creating spaces and experiences that increase trust and foster solidarity among people and institutions. The grantee’s key services include workshops and retreats for young civic leaders and social entrepreneurs to discover and develop authentic purpose in life and work; consultancy and mentoring for projects and initiatives in the private, public, and nonprofit sectors to maximize their scale, sustainability, and impact; and facilitation of networks, platforms, and ecosystems to strengthen creativity and innovation in communities and the society in Peru. Mosaico Laboratorio Creativo is based in Lima, Peru.
