About this grant

Founded in 1997, the National Center for Family Philanthropy is the only national nonprofit dedicated exclusively to families who give and those who work with them. The center provides resources, expertise, and support to families in order to transform their values into effective giving that makes a lasting impact on the communities they serve. The grantee’s five-year goal is to provide resources, expertise, and direct support and guidance to more than 5,000 families engaged in philanthropy and indirect support to an additional 10,000 families. A grant increase will help support the transition of the grantee’s founding president to the role of senior fellow where she will oversee a fellowship program and focus on research, writing, and developing intellectual property for the center.
