About this grant
Peregrine Environmental Consultants, a public interest consultancy, was established to address environmental and social standards of the international development finance institutions, particularly the World Bank Group. The World Bank Group continues to finance projects that either do not provide the promised benefits to local communities or results in disproportionate harm to local communities—thus failing in the bank’s fundamental development mission. This project will establish a multi-stakeholder process to catalyze the creation of Access to Justice and Remedy fund(s) that would assist project-affected communities in their efforts to engage with, and address the impacts of, World Bank Group projects.
