About this grant
The Grand Traverse Regional Land Conservancy, founded in 1991, is a land trust serving a five-county region located in northwest lower Michigan. During the last grant period, the grantee made very significant progress on a multiyear capital campaign, securing funding commitments surpassing $90 million. The funds will be used to protect and maintain natural areas, scenic views and farmland in the service area. Renewed support will allow the Grand Traverse Regional Land Conservancy to successfully transition out of the fundraising campaign and continue the full range of the organization’s work.
