About this grant

This grant provides funding to an organization focused on enhancing the capacity and knowledge of philanthropic networks. In 2022-23, the United Philanthropy Forum advocated on behalf of the nonprofit and philanthropic sector and also partnered and collaborated with other infrastructure organizations through four key pillar areas: 1) racial equity, diversity and inclusion; 2) public policy; 3) philanthropic practice; and 4) knowledge management. In 2024-25, the grantee will continue to lead a vibrant network; maximize the individual and collective capacity and impact of its members; and provide learning, knowledge and resources to its members. Formed in 1998, as the Forum of Regional Associations of Grantmakers, the United Philanthropy Forum is a member of the national network of associations of grantmakers. Its current members are nearly 100 regional and national philanthropy-serving organizations across the United States that represent more than 7,000 foundations and other philanthropic organizations.
