About this grant
The project goal is to build knowledge and capacity that will empower nonprofits and other civil society actors to use digital technology and communications strategies effectively to advance their missions. To this end, Fundacja TechSoup, the European hub of TechSoup, will further develop and scale up its online digital activism platform, called Hive Mind, and deepen its work to support digital activism in West Africa, Latin America, and Central and Eastern Europe. During the previous grant period, the grantee built Hive Mind, an online global resource to help civil society actors to develop content for social media and other online spaces, counter negative and false information and communicate key messages effectively. The platform has 4,100 registered users who can access content in nine languages. Fundacja TechSoup also established partnerships with leading nonprofits in West Africa and Latin America in order to better serve civil society in these regions.
