Exploring Best Practice Models and Pathways for International Clean Energy Finance

About this grant

The Vasudha Foundation undertakes research and analysis that will be used to inform and shift international financial institution investments in the energy sector. The grantee focuses on developing alternative models for renewable energy financing that can provide new pathways for international investments. With this grant increase, the grantee will continue to monitor the African Development Bank and the World Bank Group’s financing for energy infrastructure to developing countries. In particular, the grantee will focus on building collaboration between African countries and India, related to renewable energy investments and off-grid energy access solutions for Africa. The Vasudha Foundation will also collect data on such energy investments and delve deeper into some of the issues that will arise from the data collected.
