About this grant

The goal of this grant is to support, inform and maximize the impact of philanthropists, social investors and those they support through the Aspen Institute’s Program on Philanthropy and Social Innovation. The project’s primary activity is a yearly meeting of the Aspen Philanthropy Group—a group of foundation chief executives and selected strategic advisors. The project also organizes problem-solving working groups and roundtable discussions on critical topics to philanthropists, offers leadership development programming and partners with organizations to showcase leaders, programs and trends in philanthropy. Established in 1949, Aspen Institute is a leading U.S. think tank with an international network of partners that fosters values-based leadership and provides a neutral and balanced venue for discussing and acting on critical issues.
