Oregon Statewide Afterschool Network

About this grant

This grant will support the Oregon Association for the Education of Young Children, which coordinates the Oregon State Afterschool Network, to expand access to high-quality afterschool programs for young people. Specific initiatives will include: 1) build a stronger professional development infrastructure, with a focus on streamlined and accessible training; 2) deepen relationships with local education districts to expand access to responsive afterschool programming across Oregon; 3) work with education stakeholders and policymakers to design and implement education recovery funding to help Oregon youth recover and thrive; 4) work with the Mott Foundation to design future afterschool programs and ecosystems; and 5) support the promotion and distribution of Mizzen resources.
