About this grant
The New Venture Fund is the fiscal sponsor for the Community Resource Hub for Safety and Accountability project. The project’s long-term goal is for all people to have access to resources and tools to advocate for systems change and accountability in law enforcement, and ultimately, to create a better, more fair and effective system of law enforcement. During 2021, the grantee will support groups working to advance safety and law enforcement accountability in their communities by: 1) providing a clearinghouse of research and best practices; 2) providing technical assistance to groups active on police accountability issues; and 3) convening organizations for shared learning. Based in Washington, D.C., the New Venture Fund incubates and hosts projects and also provides tools and other supports that accelerate the impact of hosted projects.
