About this grant
In 2019, Clark Atlanta University developed a plan for the Executive Leadership Institute program. The program’s overall goal is to prepare and support future presidents of the nation’s historically black colleges and universities. With Mott Foundation funding, the grantee will begin implementing the program by recruiting program fellows, developing credentialed training courses and organizing networking events. Based in Atlanta, Georgia, Clark Atlanta University was established in 1988 through the consolidation of Atlanta University and Clark College—two of the nation’s oldest Historically Black Colleges and Universities.
