About this grant
Derecho Ambiente y Recursos Naturales is a Peruvian nongovernmental organization with offices in Lima and Iquitos, the capital of the Peruvian Amazon Department of Loreto. Over the last two years, the grantee began work to bring renewable energy to isolated communities in the Amazon. With this increase, the grantee will add additional photovoltaic systems to improve refrigeration and commercialization of fish resources, solar radios to improve access to education and reduce water contamination by single-use batteries.
