About this grant
Access to modern, clean energy is a major challenge in the greater Amazon rainforest. This grant supports the World Wildlife Fund to expand and replicate renewable energy access in the Amazon countries of Bolivia, Colombia and Suriname. The grantee will work both regionally and nationally to overcome financial and regulatory barriers to renewable energy expansion and provide technical support for demonstration projects in the three countries.
