About this grant
Justice in Motion provides legal support to immigrants as they migrate from their home countries into the United States. During the previous grant period, the grantee facilitated cross-border collaborations, provided legal services to immigrants, hosted virtual trainings on migration issues and immigration law and reunified families. During this grant period, the grantee will work on asylum access and protection, labor migration under temporary foreign worker visas and reunifying families. The grantee was founded in 2005 and was originally called Global Workers Justice Alliance, focusing on providing legal assistance and expertise to migrant workers. In 2016, the grantee changed its name to Justice in Motion and expanded its mission to include humanitarian immigration and civil rights work.
