About this grant

River Network is a national organization that provides training to advance organizational effectiveness and sharpen advocates’ skills and capacity to address a range of issues including access to clean, safe and affordable drinking water. With prior Mott support, the grantee provided such capacity building support to groups and individuals in the Great Lakes region. River Network also convened key individuals and organizations to build regional collaboration on drinking water issues. Renewed support will enable the grantee to continue to focus on water affordability, community resiliency and equitable water infrastructure investment. The grantee will also build the capacity of Great Lakes groups around drinking water issues by providing consulting and mentoring. Grant funds will also be used to help Great Lakes stakeholders attend River Rally, a leading national conference.
