Scaling the Digital Activism Hub

About this grant

The project goal is to build knowledge, communities of practice and capacity to support civil society actors at a time of unprecedented pressure and threats worldwide. To this end, Fundacja TechSoup developed the Digital Activism Program in response to persistent and emerging challenges and trends in the rapidly changing digital space. This relates to increasing awareness of the dangers of technology, including Artificial Intelligence, and the potential to leverage its power for good through collaboration and spreading positive and factual narratives in an increasingly hybrid world. During the previous grant period, the grantee expanded Hive Mind — an online global resource to help civil society actors to pool resources, share expertise and coordinate actions — leading to a more powerful and collective force for positive change. The grantee also organized global gatherings and expanded its global network of partners to better serve civil society in Africa and Latin America. Moving forward and adapting to the rapidly changing environment, Fundacja Techsoup will strengthen its global network, reassess its community of practice model, and redesign key functions to enhance collaboration, contribution and learning within the community.
