Afterschool College and Career Readiness Initiative

About this grant

This grant to Wyoming Community Foundation will enable the Wyoming Statewide Afterschool Network to increase the availability and expansion of college and career exploration, financial literacy or college affordability planning by enhancing quality afterschool and summer learning opportunities for underserved youth. This project will support the network to: 1) create workforce development and career pathways for older youth through afterschool and summer learning programs; 2) develop tools and resources for afterschool educators around college and career readiness and financial literacy to support youth; and 3) expand partnerships to increase integration of college and career readiness and financial wellness supports in rural and underserved communities. The grantee will share promising practices and resources with the 50 State Afterschool Network and Mizzen by Mott to enhance college and career readiness initiatives in afterschool programs nationally.
