About this grant
This grant to the Arkansas State University System Foundation will enable the Arkansas Statewide Afterschool Network to increase the availability and expansion of college and career exploration, financial literacy or college affordability planning by enhancing quality afterschool and summer learning opportunities for underserved youth. This project will support the network to: 1) increase implementation of high quality college and career readiness program strategies in afterschool and summer learning settings; 2) expand accessibility of financial literacy tools and resources for afterschool educators around college and career readiness to support youth and families; and 3) deepen key partnerships to increase integration and funding to support college and career readiness initiatives for afterschool and summer learning programs. The grantee will share promising practices and resources with the 50 State Afterschool Network and Mizzen by Mott to enhance college and career readiness initiatives in afterschool programs nationally.
