About this grant

The Institute for Economic and Racial Equity is a research institute of Brandeis University that promotes programs and policies that expand economic opportunity and equity for individuals and families, particularly households of color. Renewed Mott Foundation support will allow the Institute to continue advancing Children’s Saving Account movement by helping stakeholders utilize and leverage data to accelerate best practices . promote coordination and collaboration and inform policy. Key activities planned include: 1) data collection and evaluation; 2) supporting a learning network of grantees; 3) thought leadership; and 4) a summative report of the field’s last decade. The Mott Foundation has supported Brandeis University on asset-building and savings strategies since 2008.
