South Saginaw Street Property Acquisition

About this grant

This grant increase will provide additional resources for the Foundation for the Uptown Reinvestment Corporation to fund and direct the acquisition of two additional vacant properties along the South Saginaw Corridor through its supported organization, Uptown Reinvestment Corporation. Uptown Reinvestment Corporation will perform due diligence and coordinate the purchase and maintenance of several properties with the goal of preparing the corridor for potential redevelopment uses such as office spaces, residential housing and light industrial. This work will help facilitate business growth and support reinvestment in city neighborhoods.
