About this grant
Founded in 1937, the Michigan United Conservation Clubs engages its grassroots members to conserve, protect and enhance Michigan’s natural resources. With previous Mott Foundation support, the grantee has pursued its mission through four key pillars of activity: advocacy; education; communications; and land stewardship. With renewed support, the Michigan United Conservation Clubs will continue its major programs, including a focus on protecting and restoring the Great Lakes while also building its own organizational strength.
